Some great picks this week in the world of game demos. I managed to dig through them all and picked out a couple of great titles for your enjoyment. First up we have Aquanox which is a fun underwater action shooter and also for you sports fans we’ve got a really cool and very realistic demo called Tennis Master Series. Enjoy!

AquaNox (Action/Adventure)
I really didn’t know what to expect from this one as I hadn’t really checked it out before but now that I’ve played the demo I’m actually quite impressed. The game is set in the future and you take control of a submarine type vehicle designed for maneuverability and destruction. The graphics are very nice and the action is fast paced. The game kind of reminds me of Descent (anyone remember that one?) only this is under water. The demo includes one full mission from the game which is more than enough to get a good feel for it. One thing to note; My system didn’t seem to like this game a whole lot as it crashed on me several times (I use Windows XP) so be forewarned. Hopefully this was just me and not a sign of a buggy game.

Tennis Master Series (Sports/Sim)
I can’t say as I’m a huge tennis fan (ok not at all) but playing the game against your buddies on a console or PC is kick ass. At least I think so. There really isn’t a whole lot to tell you about this one, its tennis. The games graphics are quite nice, the game play is simple and realistic, and the AI can be challenging. The demo includes two players to choose from, one court and one match. The makers of the game have limited the number of days you can play to 15 and also the number of times you start the demo to 20. Yes I think that’s lame too. If you like sports games at all (even if you’re not a tennis fan) you should give this one a shot. At the very least you’ll have a laugh or two at the fans.
